Price quoted is what you pay, Service quoted is what you get
I have been a customer for several years. My price has never changed - no teaser rate, then jack the bill up game. The line speed has always met or exceeded the quoted speed, with very low ping. The one time I did need customer service, I called, a human answered, and the problem was fixed in under a minute. Great people. Great lines. Fair, but honest prices. If you want a teaser rate, then see your price going up, up and away, then try another ISP. If you want a fair price, choose Allo.
Stable internet service and great customer service. A bit expensive but I still recommend them.
Allo has started to rapidly expand to new cities and this site hasn't caught up to that yet as it doesn't show Allo service in my city yet. So I have the Allo gigabit internet plan and over the past months, it's been perfect! It just keeps on working, it's so reliable and there is no doubt it's way better than cable internet is. No peak time slowdowns seem to happen either. They still don't have ipv6 enabled but the 500Mbps and 1Gbps internet plans now use DHCP instead of CGNAT which wasn't great before and someone else even mentioned it in a previous review. The customer service is really good, locally based and all employees that I've talked to in person have been nice. The only downside of the gigabit plan are finding services to utilize gigabit speeds and the internet pricing is a bit expensive when compared to other provider plans. Overall, I highly recommend Allo for internet services if they are available in your area. I feel so lucky to have fiber internet available to me finally!
Great service help in Lincoln
I just spoke with their customer service in the Lincoln office, he was both friendly and effective. An overall great experience.
Fast and friendly customer service
Love the speed and customer service. I also love the easy way of using the mobile app to make payments and to inquire about anything via chat.
Great Internet speed and reliability!
Great speed, great reliability, though the TV service is not as strong as their competition. I feel the main difference is the wireless boxes that are just not as reliable as hardwired cable boxes. Reliability - if you call in well before 9pm with all services down or all of one service down you'll get a dispatch same day! Speed - I've never had my wired speed below 900mpbs - I do have the gig plan. It did take some extra planning to be sure that all of the networking hardware I had - including the cards in the computer - supported it. Plus there are some programs that will slow down your connection drastically. Value - I did take two stars off here - the use of a CGN or NAT444, with no IPv6 availability makes gaming and the use of VPNs and other such technology worse if not impossible. They need to either enable IPv6 or fix their CGN servers so people are not experiencing random disconnects while gaming. Customer Service - They always do their best to get you up and running. Their tier 2 tech support team is easy to reach, and you can tell they don't have a script.
