My experience with Desert Winds wireless has been exceptional! Any issues I’ve had with billing or even with my connection were solved in a timely manner. Customer service over the phone is always great, I live in a rural area of Adams county and my internet connection is great, the speed is decent for the area I live in, I have yet to be disappointed! Would recommend Desert Winds wireless for all your internet needs.

I've used Desert Winds internet for 5+ years. I have 3 kids, so we are all regularly using multiple devices, watching Netflix and they play video games online. My speed has always been fast and reliable, and the local customer service team is always friendly on the phone. All around great experience.

Where we are located, Desert Winds is the only WiFi available to us at a reasonable price. We can get air cards with not enough data for waaaaaay too much money. We are on the 5 Mbps plan but it consistently runs much slower. Our service is not fast enough to stream videos or watch digital television without waiting for a day to download it. They are a good company but there just isn't much they can do. We have a small dish that sits on our house and points to a tower 30+ miles away. I'm sure if I went back to dial-up, I would absolutely love what I have. Do they still have dial-up?

Overall, the service is okay for low end, low speed internet services. There has been times of outages due to issues with their towers. Their pricing is outrageously high, $80 for 6 Mbps down and 6 Mbps up. There are other companies that have 30 Mbps down and up for $30. They are the only other internet service provider in my area, so I get why they have high prices, just because they can due to the lack of providers in the area. Definitely better than the service we had from my previous provider.
