About Our NCATS Speed Test Tool

Whether NCATS is your internet provider or you use a different provider, the speed test below can show key statistics about your internet connection.

This speed test will check the performance of your Internet service whether you use NCATS or another provider. The dials above will display statistics on download speed and upload throughput. Download and upload rates are the primary signs of broadband internet connection performance. As of January 2022, NCATS’s national average download rate is 0 Mbps. Across their coverage area, the average latency on NCATS Internet speed tests is 0ms. In context, wired Internet connections generally have latency in the 5–70ms range. Satellite Internet broadband connections, in contrast, can be in the range of 500–800ms.
