Dayton residents can count on high-speed, wired internet service from AT&T Fiber, Spectrum, Metronet, and Altafiber. These providers don’t cover every Dayton neighborhood, which means that the options available to you will depend on where you live.

AT&T Fiber offers availability to 37.5% of Dayton, with the suburbs getting better coverage than the city center. Areas that can choose AT&T Fiber include the Oregon Historic District and South Park Historic District, southern suburbs like Hearthstone, and northern neighborhoods like Northridge Estates. However, don’t expect to have AT&T Fiber availability if you live in downtown areas like Dayton Terra-Cotta Historic District, Huffman Historic District, or Dunbar Historic District, as well as suburbs like Kittyhawk and Pheasant Hill.

Spectrum offers both cable and fiber internet plans in Dayton. Their 94.8% cable availability is excellent across the city, with only a few areas excluded from service. Areas that can’t choose Spectrum include central neighborhoods along the East Miami River, University Park, and along the Mad River between Webster and North Keowee streets.
