Residents in Valdosta can choose from 11 providers for a reliable internet connection. But how do you choose which one provides service to your home? In Georgia’s Garden of Eden, residents can choose between two fiber providers and one cable service.

AT&T Fiber and Clearwave Communications provide fiber internet service to Valdosta residents. AT&T has the most availability in the city covering 29.2% of residents. The service isn’t widespread, featuring clusters of service areas throughout the city. The area between Rocky Ford Road and Interstate 75 has AT&T’s most widespread coverage. Its service is also available in Lincoln Park, Hallmark Heights, throughout downtown, and near the Valdosta Regional Airport.

Clearwave’s fiber internet service covers a decent chunk of Valdosta. It’s available in most areas along East Hill Avenue. The few areas not covered by Clearwave are south of Hallmark Heights and the surrounding areas in Sunset Hill Cemetery.

For cable internet, Valdosta residents have a sole provider: Mediacom. The provider covers 81.3% of the city and features widespread availability. Mediacom’s service is consistent throughout downtown Valdosta and covers areas AT&T Fiber doesn’t, such as Lakeview Heights and Forrest Place. However, between Rocky Ford Road and Interstate 75, Mediacom doesn’t reach as close to the neighboring Briggston as AT&T does.
